Catering Assistant job summary

Belper School and Sixth Form Centre are looking for and enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our school Catering team. The role involves basic food preparation, general kitchen duties and serving food to students and staff. The successful candidate will hold a Food Hygiene Certificate and will enjoy working co-operatively and flexibly as part of a team.

The school catering provision provides an essential and highly valued service to our staff and students and our school catering team form an integral part of our school community.

This role is for 2 days per week , Thursday and Friday 39 weeks per year (Term time and INSET days 8.30am – 1.15pm)
