We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team here at City of Peterborough Academy!
About us:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at City of Peterborough Academy. Reporting to the Catering Manager and Regional Catering Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality catering services to our students.
In this hands-on role, you’ll assist with the preparation of daily menu items including hot meals, sandwiches, snacks, and baked goods. You’ll help maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, support food service during busy periods, and ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations and Trust procedures.
You’ll be part of a friendly and professional team committed to providing a welcoming and efficient service. Whether it’s washing up, serving meals, or supporting special academy events, your contribution will help create a positive dining experience for all.
This role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Training will be provided, and you’ll be supported in your professional development within the Trust.

The City of Peterborough Academy was opened in September 2013 by Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential.
