We are seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the preparation and serving of meals to pupils, ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times. You will work closely with the catering team to help create a positive dining experience for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash up and clean kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Support the catering team in delivering a smooth lunchtime service.
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
