Catering Assistant job summary
We are seeking a Catering Assistant to support with the provision of nutritional, varied and exciting food for our students and staff which is served from our four food outlets in school: North Eat Diner, Northfleet Café, Pit Stop and the Sixth Avenue Café (based in our dedicated Sixth Form Building).
This is a permanent post for 28.25 hours per week and term time only (39 weeks per year). The working pattern is 8:00 - 14:15 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 - 13:45 on Friday.
The postholder will join our experienced and committed in house Catering Team and under the direction of the Catering Manager will assist with preparation, serving and selling of food and refreshments. Responsibilities also include maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health & safety within the dining and kitchen areas.
