What we’re looking for
In the pivotal role of Catering Assistant, the successful candidate will be an integral part of our culinary team, contributing to the preparation of food, actively engaging students to make menu selections, and efficiently serving meals to students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities encompass various kitchen tasks, including dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness according to established routines. Diligent attention to detail in record-keeping, particularly in the Kitchen Record Keeping Book, is essential. During food service times, the Catering Assistant will ensure tables, counters, and display fridges are impeccably cleaned and adequately stocked. Operating tills, maintaining a pristine dining area, and promptly attending to rubbish bins are integral aspects of the role.
10 hours per week
12:00 - 14:00 Monday - Friday

Shortstown Primary opened in September 2013 and boosts fantastic new, state-of-the-art facilities. Through the benefit of its excellent Pre-school provision it is able to take children from the age of 2 through to 11 years.
