Catering Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join the School Kitchen Team :

Hours of Work are as follows:

Mondays: 12.30 - 2.30pm

Tuesdays: 11.30 - 2.30pm

Wednesdays: 12.30 - 2.30pm

Thursdays: 12.30 - 2.30pm

Fridays: 12.30 - 2.30pm

The successful candidate will assist with the following:

Preparation and serving of food and beverages. No cooking.

Preparation of the dining area, which will include moving and setting up furniture

Preparation of the service area

Washing of dishes, cutlery & other equipment

Cleaning of all catering areas on a daily basis

They will need to be flexible and have the ability to work well within a team and independently. In addition, they will need to be willing to undertake training to obtain a Food Hygiene Certificate.
