Catering Assistant job summary
We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team here at The Wells Academy!
About the role:
The successful applicant will provide support to the Catering Manager, ensuring that all catering services are of the highest possible standard. You will be required to prepare meals and provide a friendly and efficient service to all staff and pupils.
Working as part of a dedicated catering team, you will need to demonstrate:
- Excellent hygiene and health & safety practices
- Good organisational ability
- First class communication skills
- Experience in preparing and serving food, with school kitchen knowledge being desirable
The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. Also holding a Level 2 Diploma in Kitchen Services and having knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous.
