What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Manager to work within our school catering service. Duties will include the day-to-day management of catering staff, preparation of school meals and menus ensuring that a high standard of food hygiene/handling and safe working practices are used. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to successfully manage the school meal service within an allocated budget. The ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills, good time management, and the ability to be flexible and creative.
To apply you must have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Catering, at least one year’s experience in a catering role, previous supervisory experience in a catering environment and the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. A Level 3 Food Safety Certificate and being Craft trained in Professional Cookery would be desirable.
