Catering Manager job summary
We are looking for a professional hardworking, composed, and reliable Catering Manager, with experience of working in a fast paced environment to join our busy kitchen. We currently prepare and serve meals to approximately 300 pupils across our catering provision of four schools in Milton Keynes.
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday, 07:30am – 3:30pm / Friday 07:30am – 3:00pm
39 weeks per year (plus 2 weeks during holidays)
Qualification Required:
L3 Food Hygiene, or willingness to complete this
You will be responsible for:
- The Catering Budget
- Effectively lead and manage a Catering team of staff, across the federation
- Planning Autumn and Summer menus, including carb count and allergy information
- Preparing and serving food at breakfast, snacks and lunchtime, as well as catering for other events over the year
- Transportation of food across our catering provision, as and when required
