Central Services Administrator job summary

Alongside the School Development Team, we are proud to support our schools with a range of professional services, including finance, HR, estates, compliance, IT. This is a new role to support the central operations and Governance teams with their administrative duties.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Administrator to join our Central Services team within the Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Communications and Compliance Manager and the Governance Professional, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations across the Trust. This role is key to maintaining effective communication, managing key processes, and ensuring that administrative functions align with the Trust’s goals and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide efficient administrative support to the Central Services team, including the preparation of documents, reports, and communications.

Manage and coordinate meetings, events, and training sessions, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.

Assist in maintaining and updating the Trust’s records, and filing systems in compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.

Handle general correspondence, including responding to emails and phone queries from staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

Ensure smooth communication between the Central Services team and individual schools within the Trust, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Assist in the implementation and upkeep of policies and procedures across the Trust.

Carry out any other administrative duties as required by the Executive Assistant and Governance Professional.

The successful candidate will be:

Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.

An effective communicator with fluent spoken English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard administrative systems.

Able to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and discretion.

Committed to the values and safeguarding responsibilities of the Trust.
