Triumph Learning Trust is seeking an exceptional and inspirational Chief Executive Officer to lead the strategic development, educational excellence and operational success of our Trust and its schools.
Serving communities across Rugby and Coventry, our Trust encompasses both primary and secondary education and is committed to ensuring every child receives an aspirational and inspirational education. Through collaboration, innovation and shared expertise, we empower our schools to thrive while preserving their unique identities and serving their local communities.
This is a pivotal appointment at an exciting stage in the Trust’s development. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and Members, the successful candidate will provide ambitious, values-driven leadership that delivers outstanding outcomes for children and young people, strengthens organisational resilience and supports sustainable growth.

About the Role
As Chief Executive Officer, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Trust and it schools.
- Ensure the Trust’s vision, values and inclusive ethos are embedded throughout all aspects of its work.
- Drive continuous improvement in educational outcomes and school performance.
- Lead organisational development, people strategy and culture across the Trust.
- Oversee financial sustainability, governance, compliance and risk management.
- Champion high standards of safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
- Develop effective partnerships with Trustees, school leaders, staff, families and external stakeholders.
- Ensure robust systems and structures are in place to deliver both immediate priorities and long-term strategic objectives.
About You
We are seeking a highly experienced and credible leader who can demonstrate:
- Significant senior leadership experience within a Multi-Academy Trust, education organisation or comparable setting.
- A strong track record of delivering educational improvement and organisational success.
- Excellent strategic leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Expertise in governance, finance, HR, organisational development and school improvement.
- A commitment to collaborative leadership and developing high-performing teams.
- A passion for inclusive education and improving outcomes for all children and young people.

Location and Travel
The role will be based across Triumph Learning Trust schools and central services located within Rugby, Warwickshire and Coventry, West Midlands.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly between Trust sites and attend meetings with stakeholders across the region. Access to independent transport and the ability to travel efficiently between locations is therefore essential.
