Are you a visionary leader passionate about transforming education and making a lasting positive impact on young lives and our communities?
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Multi Academy Trust into the next phase of its evolution, growth, excellence, and innovation. Based in beautiful Harrogate, near to Leeds, this is a great location to live and work.
As CEO, you will provide strategic leadership across our Trust, working in close partnership with school leaders, trustees, and wider stakeholders to promote educational excellence and strong governance. You will be a visible and values-led leader, championing our vision and mission, inspiring our people, and ensuring the long-term sustainability and impact of our work.
Key Responsibilities
- Nurture, embody and champion the culture and values of our Trust
- Set and implement our Trust’s strategic vision aligned with our mission and values
- Oversee and secure academic standards and school improvement across our MAT academies
- Lead, support, and develop the executive team and school leaders
- Act as an ambassador for our Trust both within and outside the MAT
- Manage resources effectively and ensure financial sustainability
- Build strong partnership with the Trustees, communities, local authorities, and education stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards
- Promote innovation, inclusion, and a culture of continuous professional development
- Provide strategic oversight of Red Kite Education
About Us
Our Multi Academy Trust comprises a diverse family of 16 schools dedicated to delivering excellence and enriching children’s lives. Our values are collaboration, integrity, and respect, which are lived out in all that we do.
We also have some highly developed and embedded systems leadership features as a Trust through Red Kite Education, the team that drives professional development with over 300 schools across North and West Yorkshire. This work includes the Red Kite Alliance, Red Kite Teacher Training, Red Kite Teaching School Hub, and Red Kite Connect. We support the education sector in a multitude of different ways.
About You
- Proven leadership experience in education or a related sector with comparable scale and complexity, ideally within a MAT or similar environment
- Strong track record of driving school improvement and academic achievement across a range of settings
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Visionary and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams
- Financial acumen and operational oversight experience
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
