Would you like to play a pivotal role in leading our school finance function?
Do you have a proven track record in budget setting and monitoring, and strategic resource management?
Are you able to interpret complex financial information and use it to inform policy and practice?
Will you persistently champion our school, live by its values, and work to optimise resources to meet the needs of our students?
Testwood School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function and operational services. The successful candidate will be expected to lead on developing and implementing the school’s strategic financial plans and securing best value.
Working closely with the Headteacher, other Senior Leaders and Trustees, the CFO will ensure that the School’s financial strategy supports its wider development priorities, which centre on improving outcomes and the life chances of children. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial planning, managing budgets, system development, and resource optimisation.

Testwood School
Testwood School has proudly served the community of Totton and Calmore for nearly eighty years and is highly regarded by it. Consequently, there are very strong links between the community and the school; some of our students are the fourth generation of their family to be educated at Testwood. During this time the school has developed into a strong community of students and staff, where students can learn in a supportive and caring environment.
