What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking two child and adolescent psychotherapist, with some experience of delivering interventions to support young people with challenging behaviour within a school context. This will need to include an integrative approach that is responsive to individual needs.
As part of the Therapy Team, you will be responsible for organising and delivering therapy interventions to children and young people attending the school. Nightingale Community Academy (NCA) is a special school that supports boys and young men with complex emotional and mental health needs, many of which have experienced trauma and multiple exclusions.
As well as delivering therapy sessions to the young people attending NCA, you will communicate with CAMHS and other partner organisations. This may include participating in Peer Supervision and reciprocal arrangements for one to one and group work.

Nightingale Community Academy is a special school in Wandsworth for 120 boys aged 5 to 19 with social emotional and mental health needs.
Primary pupils benefit from a purpose-built classroom hub and outdoor adventure playground and access to weekly music lessons and a comprehensive therapy service. Secondary and post-16 students are offered a broad curriculum including vocational courses such as motor vehicle studies, construction, horticulture and hospitality. All pupils benefit from regular animal therapy at Tom’s Farm, which is located on the spacious school site.

Nightingale Community Academy is a school for boys aged between 5 and 19 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or Statement of SEN for social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Some learners also have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or other learning difficulties.
