What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a Child Specific Learning Support Assistant, to work within EYFS, KS1 or Year 3. The successful applicant will be able to set firm boundaries but also have an invested interest in nurturing and developing our pupils. The position will commence as soon as possible and will finish either when the child leaves Greswold Primary School, or if the funding is adjusted or removed.
The role will be 30 hours per week Monday to Friday, exclusive of INSET days, from 08:30 to 15.15 with an unpaid 15-minute mid-morning break and an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.

Ideally candidates must have NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy is essential (GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent). The position will be paid on Band C point 8 - 14 currently £24,702 – £27,334 pro rata (Pay Award pending) dependant on qualifications and experience.
