Child Specific Teaching and Learning Support Assistant (TLSA) job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hihly motivated child specific Teaching & Learnig Suppor Assistant to join our fantastic team and support a child in Year 5 with dyslexia needs.
This is a 17.5 hours role over 39 weeks of the year (term time only).
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 12:30pm (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
The role is Fixed Term as it is attached to a specific child and will end when the child leaves the school.
The successful candidate will:
Be a creative, caring practitioner who is dynamic, passionate and able to work collaboratively in a team and is committed to delivering outstanding quality care and provision.
Have experience of working with SEND pupils
Have enthusiasm for working with children and developing their individual skills and knowledge
Be a professional who is able to work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders
Be an excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
