Child Specific (Y3) Teaching & Learning Support Assistant (Fixed Term) job summary

Hours

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, 9am - 3pm (including 30 mins unpaid lunch break)

Contract: Fixed term - this role is attached to a specific child and will end when the child leaves the school. Term time only - 39 weeks per year.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated child specific Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to join our fantastic team and support a child in Year 3 with neurodiverse needs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a creative, caring practitioner who is dynamic, passionate and able to work collaboratively in a team and is committed to delivering outstanding quality care and provision
  • Have experience of working with SEND pupils
  • Have enthusiasm for working with children and developing their individual skills and knowledge
  • Be a professional who is able to work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders
  • Be an excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
