Child Supervisory Support Officer job summary
Our Multi-Academy Trust is a group of inspirational and aspirational mainstream and specialist schools in Yorkshire whose main objective is to ensure that all pupils make exceptional progress through the development of outstanding staff. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Child Supervisory Support Officer to support and supervise our pupils during lunchtime provision.
As a Child Supervisory Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children during lunchtimes. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide support in supervising students, promoting positive behavior, and enhancing the overall educational experience.
6.25 hours per week - Term time only (190 days).
Required hours: Monday - Friday 12.15-1.35pm
General overview of duties:
- Safeguard pupils in every interaction including a pro-active approach to Health and Safety.
- Manage and lead a small team of Child Supervisory Support Officers
- Assist with the planning, organising and management of events for lunchtimes
- To supervise, interact and engage with all pupils through play, fun and reward
