Childcare Apprentice - Early Years job summary

Fixed-term contract linked to the term of the apprenticeship - initially 18 months. Part-time, 35 hours per week. Term Time Only + training days (39 weeks)

Fully Funded Apprenticeship! Must have a Level 2 Qualification and GCSE English and Maths A-C

We are looking for a Childcare Apprentice to join our amazing school community. You will learn through a structured Level 3 apprenticeship programme with on-the-job training and mentorship from skilled colleagues across our Trust. This is a great opportunity to gain a recognised qualifications in Early Education and to kick start your career! We are looking for someone who is passionate and can enlighten and develop the youngest of minds. Has a passion to create a caring, nurturing environment and curriculum, promoting independence to "Grow the seed for the future" for all our young children. A practitioner who has the enthusiasm to develop their own career and support the development of the team around them.

Building a foundation for our youngest children to develop independence and self-resilience, scaffolding children’s learning and development. About our Team

We are a small team of Early Years professionals, managed by an experienced early years manager. We provide mentoring and peer support and work together to develop the best learning environment for practitioners and children. Our team is warm, collaborative and child centred. Practitioners support each other's strengths are values and a helping hand is always there to share ideas and work together to ensure all children have the very best care and learning experience.

Practitioners have access to CPD opportunities to work with external professionals. There are also opportunities for progression within the team to develop your own interests within any area of EYFS or wider roles an opportunities across our Trust. and within school.

Early Education and Day-care Provision are very fortunate to have a lovely learning environment. We have a creative room where children have access to messy sensory play, quiet space and a large indoor movement area. We also have large outdoor garden for the children to enjoy and explore.
