Childcare Assistant - Early Years job summary

Term-Time + 2 Training Days. Part Time 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Shift Pattern 8.00am to 3.30pm and 10.00am to 5.30pm

We are looking for a calm, consistent, and compassionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team!

Meadowfield Early Education and Daycare Provision creates a caring environment for all to thrive. Building a foundation for our youngest children to develop independence and self-resilience, scaffolding children’s learning and development. We are proud of the friendships we build with our children in the setting and the relationships we form with our families. We recognise the importance of choosing the right setting for a child and value the trust parents place on us to care and educate their young children. We are very proud to support the families in the community and offer flexible care and education to support parents into work, college and university alongside supporting government funded places. We plan to build on the support we offer, opening up more opportunities for families to attend.

About our Team

We are a small team of Early Years professionals, managed by an experience early years manager. Providing mentoring and peer support working together to develop the best learning environment for both practitioner and children. Our team is warm, collaborative and child centred. Practitioners support each other's strengths are values and a helping hand is always there to share ideas and work together to ensure all children have the very best care and learning experience.

Practitioners have access to CPD opportunities to work with external professionals. There are also opportunities for progression within the team to develop own interests within any area of EYFS or wider roles opportunities across our Trust.

Early Education and Daycare Provision are very fortunate to have a lovely learning environment. We have a creative room where children have access to messy sensory play, quite space and a large indoor movement area. We also have large outdoor garden for the children to enjoy and explore.
