This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive staff team, who are part of the Education South West multi-academy trust. Kingsteignton School is a free school which opened its doors in September 2016
The new build school is state of the art with a very high specification, particularly in terms of technology and is situated on the outskirts of Kingsteignton.
The school, at present, has 225 pupils.
The school has recently become part of a wider community of schools – Education South West Trust.
Kingsteignton School is a ‘dementia – friendly’ school and, as part of this, we are very keen to develop healthy lifestyles for all our children and staff including growing and cooking our own home-grown food and embracing regular and varied exercise to keep physically and also mentally fit. As part of our dementia friendly ethos we are also very keen to embrace the use of the outdoor environment in as many areas of the curriculum as is possible.
