Highfield Littleport Academy are looking for a committed Class Teacher to join our team and help make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
About Us:
We are a thriving community special school in Cambridgeshire, dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment for children aged 2 to 19. Highfield Littleport Academy offers unique learning experiences for students with significant and complex needs, including physical, sensory, communication, and medical support requirements.
Situated in beautiful, spacious grounds on the edge of Littleport, our academy boasts excellent facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool and a well-equipped sports hall. As part of the Cambridgeshire Active Learning Trust hub, we work closely with local mainstream schools to promote inclusive education, sharing expertise, resources, and best practices.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- To plan and prepare schemes of work and complete planning documentation.
- To teach, according to their educational needs, the pupils in your class/es, including setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupil in school and elsewhere.
- To promote the intellectual, physical and personal abilities and aptitudes of the pupils in your class and provide guidance and advice to pupils on educational and relevant social matters.
- To make records and report on the personal and social needs of pupils.
