About The Bridge School

The Bridge Special School is a popular school educating children and young people between the ages of 3 - 16 who have a wide range of communication, physical, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Many of the pupils are on the Autistic Spectrum. The school serves a catchment area that covers Ipswich and surrounding areas of Suffolk. The whole school is based on one campus, with the primary building constructed and opened in 2015 and the construction of a new, purpose-built secondary unit planned for this year.

The school is part of a collaborative, forward thinking Academy Trust of 30 schools. Unity Schools Partnership will be creating a network of special schools working together as we have recently been approved to open new special schools in Ipswich and Romford, as well as already having a special school in Haverhill.
