Here at Intake Academy, we are seeking a passionate Class Teacher to join our team, helping to create engaging learning experiences and ensuring every pupil feels supported to succeed. You will play a key role in maintaining our high expectations and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, using data to inform teaching
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practice
  • Support the wider life of the school, including enrichment and wider opportunities
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers
  • Uphold safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils

At Intake we work with children aged 3 – 11 years old, from Nursery through to Foundation Stages and Key Stages 1 and 2.

We have 14 teaching staff, 14 teaching support staff, an Inclusion Team and 3 office staff.

We have the highest aspirations for all our children here at Intake, celebrating their achievements and recognising their successes. We strive to create a positive, stimulating environment, where there is a real sense of belonging, where everyone is supported, empowered and challenged to achieve their potential.
