Hillcrest Academy is part of the GORSE Academies Trust, which is responsible for the running of around eight schools in the local area, at both primary and secondary level.
Hillcrest takes great pride in its extremely diverse catchment area, with a high proportion of pupils from ethnic minority backgrounds and a similarly high proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language.
