Position Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team on a 0.4 contract. This role is currently for our Y3 class to job share with one of our existing team members. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning and values working collaboratively as part of a team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom practice, high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusive education. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, assess progress effectively and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

This post would suit both experienced teachers and early career teachers looking for a part-time role, including those returning to teaching or seeking a healthy work–life balance. You will be well supported by colleagues, leaders and shared planning arrangements.

In addition to this role, a 0.4 SENDCo position is also being advertised. The school would welcome applications from candidates interested in combining both roles, subject to suitability and experience.
