Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Class Teacher at Four Acres Academy, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish.” We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.
Four Acres Academy is a warm and welcoming primary school serving the community of Withywood in South Bristol. As a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ progress and development.
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour, safety and wellbeing across the classroom.
- Contributing to the broader life of the school, including pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
What You’ll Bring to Futura
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status.
Has successfully completed their induction year.
Demonstrates the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Has a good understanding of recent developments in teaching, learning and the primary curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
Effective communication, both written and verbal.
Strong ICT skills to support teaching and administration.
Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.
