Greet School is a 4-form entry primary school in the heart of Sparkhill providing the best education for children in an area experiencing high levels of deprivation.

This exciting role will be based in a Year 3 class until the end of the academic year 2024/2025. Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
Start date: as soon as possible pending appropriate checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare courses and lessons in line with the school’s curriculum to promote the development of the abilities and aptitudes of the pupils in any class or group assigned.
- Teach assigned pupils according to their educational needs including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupil in school or elsewhere.
- Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
- Promote the general progress and well-being of individual pupils and of any class or group assigned.
- Make records and report on the personal, educational and social needs of pupils.
- Adherence to the Teachers Standards.
- Safeguards pupils’ health and safety both when they are authorised to be on the schools’ premises and engaged in authorised activities elsewhere.
You will have the following skills/ experience.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience of working with children working at all levels, including those with Special Educational Needs & Disability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and enthusiastic attitude.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
