At Sherard Primary School, we are seeking an aspirational, nurturing and passionate KS1 and KS2 Class Teacher to join our incredible team from August 2026.
Sherard Primary school are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join our school on a part-time basis, to provide the best education for our children by ensuring they are supported, engaged and inspired in their learning. As part of our welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy and happy learning environment for all children within the school.
What we are looking for
- An excellent classroom practitioner with a clear understanding of effective teaching and learning to inspire, nurture and guide pupils of all abilities
- Proven ability to manage pupils in calm and positive ways.
- A teacher with previous experience of teaching in EYFS.
- Have very high expectations of achievement and behaviour and have energy, enthusiasm, drive and determination to raise standards
- Commitment to modelling Sherard’s values in order to grow these across the school community.
- Exceptional organisational skills including time management.
- A teacher genuinely interested in educational research and uses this information to improve their teaching.
- A reflective and solution-focused practitioner who is keen to be the best teacher they can be.
- Someone who can work both independently and as a member of a team.
- A commitment to inclusion for all.
- A willingness to build positive relationships with parents and carers.
