  A SEN 1 allowance of £2,679 per annum is payable on appointment. SEN 2 allowance of £5,285 per annum is payable following the acquisition of a level 4 qualification in the field.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Dysart are seeking to recruit class teachers who have the drive, creativity and a passion for teaching and learning to join our dedicated and welcoming team. Experience of working with pupils with SEN is desirable but not essential. What is imperative is that you have high expectations, a sense of humour, a love of challenge and a determination to make a difference to the lives of our fantastic children.

Dysart School is an Outstanding special school for 150 pupils aged 4 to 19 who have a range of severe and complex learning difficulties. The school has high expectations for its pupils and believe there is no limit to their potential.
