We are looking for a Class Teacher to join Isle of Ely Primary, where high expectations, collaboration and care for every child sit at the centre of our work. This role brings together skilled classroom practice with a commitment to ensuring every pupil makes strong progress, through well-planned teaching, thoughtful assessment and responsive support. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues, contribute to the wider life of the school, and uphold a culture where behaviour, wellbeing and achievement go hand in hand. Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that follow the curriculum and meet the needs of all pupils
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support achievement
- Adapt teaching to respond to pupils’ strengths and needs, promoting strong outcomes for all
- Contribute to the wider life, ethos and development of the school, including collaborative working
- Promote a safe, positive learning environment through effective behaviour management and safeguarding practices
