Additional allowances

SEN 1 allowance of £2,679 per annum is payable on appointment. SEN 2 allowance of £5,285 per annum is payable following the acquisition of a level 4 qualification in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or QTS anticipated or GTP place secured)
  • Recent experience of working with and/or teaching pupils with special educational needs within a school setting
  • Proven ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
  • Remain calm when working under pressure
  • Commitment to the provision of high-quality education and pastoral care for all pupils.
