What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about Maths and can provide evidence of proven success in nurturing an environment within which everyone can reach their full potential. You should be able to teach across the ability range for primary school and have a real interest in leading maths. The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working with Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2, with the ability to teach a wide range of subjects across the primary age range.
- Proven ability to demonstrate good teaching ensuring all pupils make excellent progress
- Successful and relevant primary teaching experience
- Experience and understanding of a range of assessment techniques to maximise student progress
- Proven ability to manage behaviour both within class and throughout the school
- Be an exemplary teacher, sharing excellence and expertise in the development of all staff.
- Have experience of leading a subject successfully.
- Have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Be committed to working with parents, governors and the local community.
- Show a commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school.
