The role
We seek a successful teacher with recent primary school experience to lead Physical Education. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our experienced Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher andmaintainourhigh standardsrecognised at our October 2024 inspection.Thisidentifiedthe school’s outstanding work. Aston Tower has also recently been reaccredited with the Leading Parent Partnership Award, recognising our excellent work with parents.

The school
Aston Tower is a two-form entry multi-cultural school that serves a community which values and supports our work. The school hada highly successfulOfsted inspection in October 2024 which judged the school to have improved to an ‘outstanding’ level. The school offers specialist support to pupils with Special Educational Needs through our Department for Education (DfE) approved Resource Base that caters for 16 pupils with EHCPs. We have friendly,responsiveand enthusiastic children whose attitudes to learning were described as ‘excellent’ by Ofsted, along with their outstanding behaviour. Our staff team is skilled, caring, and committed; trustees are keen to be involved and highly supportive. The school is very well-resourced in well-kept modern premises set in spacious grounds.
