ABOUT BROADMERE AND NEW MONUMENT PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Located in the heart of Woking within the vibrant communities of Maybury and Sheerwater, Broadmere and New Monument are two thriving one form entry community schools (each with nursery provision) offering primary education for children aged 2 - 11 years.

Led by one senior leadership team, our belief is that all pupils, regardless of their conditions in life, can achieve excellent outcomes when surrounded and supported by a caring staff with high expectations. Our core values 'thrive, aspire and achieve' guide everything that we do, promoting pupils’ wellbeing as well as providing a positive, supportive community in which everyone feels safe, valued and above all a strong sense of belonging as part of their school.

We aim to provide a fully inclusive education of the highest quality through a carefully designed and creative curriculum, however it is of equal importance that we are able to offer a strong pastoral structure and wealth of enriching experiences to enable our pupils to become happy, confident, resilient individuals ready for their next stage in education and with high aspirations for their future.

Broadmere Primary School
Broadmere Primary School is situated in Sheerwater, Woking within the boundaries of the Sheerwater Regeneration Scheme (a multi-million-pound scheme taking place over the next few years) which will include an exciting development of new housing and facilities for the local community. There will be a health and community campus, shopping district and sports complex, which will provide great services for our families and our school.

As an anchor organisation, the school plays a big part in the diverse community that we serve and we are proud to be on the redevelopment journey with our families. In terms of school specific projects, we are currently planning redevelopment of the school kitchens as well as external works
to the entrance of the school, and other exciting future projects such as a much-needed
development of the school hall.

New Monument Primary School
New Monument Primary School is just over a mile away in Maybury, tucked away in a quiet but easily accessible part of the suburb. Our children learn in a safe and caring environment and our families value this. We encourage parental involvement and consider a close partnership with parents and carers essential. The school is at the centre of the local community and has exciting plans for the redevelopment of the reception and KS1 learning areas, plus planning ahead for a much-needed refurbishment of the school hall.
