VACANCY – TEMPORARY TEACHER

Full time, temporary for one term initially (subject to review)

To start in September 2025, however an earlier start may be possible for the right candidate

The governors and head teacher of Barnburgh Primary Academy are looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled teacher to join our ambitious team, in a vibrant, supportive and popular Primary school. This will be an ideal post for an Early Career Teacher.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • will provide and develop creative and innovative teaching strategies to meet the needs of all pupils;
  • have the vision, energy, enthusiasm and determination to make a difference;
  • will create an exceptional learning environment in which children feel supported and challenged;
  • have very good interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and governors;
  • will be an exemplary model of effective classroom practice, with high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
