Seeking to support, inspire and lead our brilliant children, the successful candidate will be motivated with a drive to support the children’s personal and academic progression. - Able to work effectively, flexibly, and collaboratively with other staff members, families and the wider community.
- Able to deliver quality first teaching.
- Confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies.
- Keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
- Understanding of the importance of Child Protection and be committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.

Mears Ashby CE Primary school is a proud member of PDET (Peterborough Diocese Education Trust). We are a family of 36 schools across the Peterborough Diocese, and these strong links make special contribution to our children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and learning. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing finances and other central services for the academies within the Trust.

We are a Good school (Ofsted, 2021) administered through the Diocese of Peterborough Education Trust (PDET), providing high quality education for the children of Mears Ashby and Hardwick as well as families from further afield who are looking for a Church of England or small school environment for their child.
