What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a new colleague to join us to take over the full time teaching responsibilities for one of our classes. This role would suit a more experienced candidate who can demonstrate a strong track record of highly effective teaching and outstanding pupil progress; someone who is ready to expand their professional experience in a fresh setting. The role is also an exciting opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career, as we are committed to supporting recently qualified teachers and ECTs
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has high expectations and aspirations for each one of the children they teach
- Works with optimism and enthusiasm to remove barriers to children's success
- Has a positive outlook to motivate children of all abilities to make very good progress
- Has a secure understanding of how formative assessment informs planning and practice
- Delivers high quality teaching for all and promotes children's independent learning
- Works creatively and with resilience so that all pupils can achieve their full personal potential
- Is positive and caring when working on children's welfare and pastoral needs
- Is self-motivated in putting pupil's learning and development at the heart of everything they do
- Leads by example and communicates well with children, colleagues and parents and governors by working in partnership with them
- Collaborates effectively as a team member, knowing that they will be valued for their contribution to the work of the school.
