Main Purpose of Job
To plan, deliver and assess high-quality teaching in an inclusive and positive environment
To demonstrate effective classroom management which nurtures all pupils and strengthens social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH)
Main Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver highly effective lessons across the curriculum
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
Assess, record and report on pupils’ progress and development
Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Manage pupil behaviour effectively and promote positive relationships.
Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and colleagues
Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen learning experiences
Participate in evidence-based, professional development opportunities
Promote a love of learning and encourage curiosity and creativity
