Class Teacher job summary

Three Lane Ends Academy are currently seeking Class Teachers, with 2 permanent positions and 2 maternity cover positions available.

We are looking for Class Teachers who:

Have proven experience within the primary phase, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different age groups.

Are exemplary classroom practitioners and positive role models, with a track record of delivering high quality, engaging lessons across a broad and balanced curriculum. You will consistently strive for excellence and inspire the same in others.

Are committed to inclusive education, ensuring all pupils regardless of background, ability, or need, feel valued, supported, and challenged. You will play an active role in creating a curriculum that is irresistible, engaging, and accessible to all learners.

Hold high aspirations for every pupil, nurturing respectful and trusting relationships built on warmth, consistency, and clear expectations. You will champion each child’s success, both academically and personally.

Are enthusiastic ambassadors for our school, contributing positively to the wider community and helping to strengthen partnerships with families, external agencies, and local organisations.

Possess excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, working effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive team. You will value teamwork, contribute ideas openly, and help to maintain a culture of mutual respect and shared success.
