OFSTED NOVEMBER 2023

Pupils behave exceptionally well and treat each other with kindness.

Pupils are enthusiastic and exceptionally focused learners.
The school makes sure that personal development is a high priority.

As a school, we live and breathe our vision through our work with our children, parents and wider community. Dover provides a unique context and, as such, we have access to a wonderfully wide range of resources, experiences and backgrounds to enrich the lives of our children. It is a place where children really matter and every individual’s ability is recognised, developed and rewarded. We firmly believe that with God, all things are possible and our children are encouraged to be loving, kind and respectful of others.

We believe that all children who become pupils at our school deserve the very best and our aim is to help them succeed by reaching their full potential in every area of school life – academic, social, personal, physical and spiritual - as a truly inclusive school.

Our children are our best ambassadors and embody the teaching and learning at our school, embracing our key teaching:

“Love one another; as I have loved you” John 13:34

Within our school we work very hard to create a passionate team of teachers, non-teaching and support staff that will support each child in reaching their full potential. For us our philosophy of education is simple: we want the best for all of our children and we want to create a learning environment that encompasses our passion for learning and our passion for life!

We believe that the key to our success is the broad and balanced creative curriculum we offer. So, whilst we ensure that we deliver the National Curriculum fully, we use creative ways to do so. For example, we use our local area, including outdoor learning experiences, to enrich the learning experience. Inspiring our children to become independent learners is at the heart of everything that we do and we take great pride in the fact that we offer such a wealth of experiences.
