Class Teacher job summary

Cliff Lane is a ‘Good’ primary school with a PAN of 476 pupils including the nursery and is based in Ipswich, close to Holywells Park. We are part of a thriving multi-academy trust, ASSET Education. We are looking for a Class Teacher to join our school. We are passionate and fully committed to providing the very best education for all of our pupils – we believe in all our children - that they can do it right, do it well, and do it!

The person we are looking for needs to:

  • Provide high quality education for pupils in a designated year group.

  • Ensure consistency in teaching and learning progression for all pupils and staff within the designated year group.

  • Be efficient and able to use own initiative.

  • Work well as part of a team.


This post will be reporting directly to the Headteacher and will be based at Cliff Lane Primary School. The post could be in either KS1 or KS2 depending on the strength and experience of the successful candidate. This post could be suitable for an experienced teacher, however, applications from ECTs are also welcome.
