What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for teachers for the lower end of the school, EYFS/KS1, and will happily consider ECTs as well as more experienced staff.
Sprites is a two-form entry school serving the Chantry area of Ipswich. To work here is an absolute joy, with sparky pupils, a friendly staff team, and so much development and support on offer. But you also need to be up for a challenge – the rewards of working in a school that needs you more than you need it are immense. We have come a long way as a school and are now a sought-after destination for many families in the area.
We do all the usual stuff in education, but try to have well-being and workload high on the agenda. Our curriculum is full of fun and full of wonderful enrichment opportunities (for staff and for pupils!) as we all know the demands on schools right now. Our curriculum has been carefully designed to nurture global citizens of the future and does not shy away from the critical issues of our time.
