This is for a maternity cover post required from the start of the Summer Term 2026

Salary: Main Scale - National Teacher Pay Scale

This is a full-time teaching post (100%)

We are looking for an energetic, dedicated and forward-thinking Key Stage Two Class Teacher at Bar Hill Primary School. This is for a maternity cover role from Easter 2026, ready for the beginning of the Summer Term. You will be part of a fantastic team of teachers and support staff working closely together to create exciting and creative learning opportunities for our children. The ideal candidate

Will have a QTS teaching qualification with ideally teaching experience in Key Stage Two

Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work successfully in teams

Has high expectations for themselves and cares about delivering high quality lessons

Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
