Class Teacher job summary
CLASSROOM TEACHER REQUIRED - To start August 2025 (later date may be considered for the right candidate)
We are looking to appoint dynamic and creative practitioners to the post of classroom teacher at our forward thinking area special school where Nurture and Respect lead to Independence. Our diverse school community needs skilled, flexible practitioners who can adapt their approach to meet the needs of individual pupils. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum that is creatively designed to promote communication and develop fluency in learning. The school has posts available within the primary and secondary phase.
Contract Type: Initially Fixed Term for 1 year

Dorothy Goodman School is an all age (from ages 4-19 years) SEN School.
Our children & young people have a wide variety of special educational needs and disabilities including pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities, severe learning difficulties, moderate difficulties and those with Autism. Some children & young people also have social, emotional and mental health difficulties associated with their learning difficulties.
