The Governing Body of Hillborough Infant and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to start as soon as possible for a fixed term until the end of July 2024.
Hillborough Infant and Nursery School is Ofsted rated Good, with pupils who are keen to learn. We welcome applications from teachers looking for a new challenge or who are returning to the profession to complete classroom duties and interventions (where necessary). We would also warmly welcome and encourage applicants who are representative of our increasingly diverse community.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher status;
- Be a confident EYFS/KS1 practitioner who has a proven track record of having a positive impact on pupil outcomes;

- Be inspired and passionate about learning and has the ability to motivate and inspire others;
- Values inclusion and has a genuine interest in working with a team, taking risks and trying new and innovative ways of working;
- Has a clear commitment to whole school improvement with excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills to engage the wider community;
- Be able to communicate effectively with children, parents and other professionals;
- Be able to work well as a member of a team, be proactive and able to work on own initiative;
- Be able to maintain and enhance the School’s high standards;
- Contribute towards the School ethos, improvement activities and the wider School community;
- Have a positive attitude, be flexible, enthusiastic with good communication skills;
- Be adaptable to a changing school environment.
