What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced Early Years teacher to play a fundamental role in the continuing success and development of our Early Years Foundation Stage.
As a Flagship Centre of Excellence for Inclusion, we place high importance on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for each and every one of our students, and expect the same from any member of staff.
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, positive and proactive individual, who works well both individually and as part of a successful team.
Our school family is incredibly important to us, and so the ability to build successful relationshops both within school and with our wider community is essential.
What the school offers its staff
Our Early Years Foundation Stage is fundamental to the success of our school. As a Flagship Centre of Excellence for Inclusion, we place huge importance on a nurturing and inclusive environment, and our EYFS classes are where this begins. We have recently undertaken a large grounds development project to further expand our ability to provide an excellent education and experiences to all our pupils, in addition to creating a sensory room and nurture area, and continue to develop our facilities year on year to ensure we fulfill our goal of providing a world class learning environment for our children. We are very much a primary school, and we believe in primary education. We work as a team to get the best from each other and most importantly from the children. As a team, we hold each other to the highest standards, but we also have great fun learning with the children. We measure our successby the smiles and laughter that we see and hear around school, as well as by the excellent academic results the children achieve.
As a member of our school you will be given the professional freedom to express yourself, whilst being supported and developed personally as part of our ongoing commitment to lifelong learning for all. Equally, the character of a candidate is as important to us as their experience. If you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to support your professional growth. If you want to get a real feel for our school then you should have a good look around our website. If you like what you see and feel that you can contribute to making a significant difference to children’s lives then please do apply, or contact us if you have any questions or would like to visit our school or speak to the Headteacher.
Further details about the role
Interviews will take place on 23rd May only.
Commitment to safeguarding
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the majority of roles, and an online search may be completed in line with KCSIE recommendations.
