What skills and experience we're looking for
Essential Skills
Demonstrable evidence of the skills required to be an excellent classroom practitioner, making learning exciting, challenging, relevant and cross-curricular.
Ability to challenge and differentiate teaching and learning for pupils of all abilities and needs.
A skilful communicator with strong, interpersonal and presentation skills, both verbal and written, that naturally adapts to a diverse audience, e.g. parents and carers, staff, pupils and the wider community on a wide range of issues.
Good planning and organisational skills, ensuring effective prioritisation and enabling the successful delivery of creative and innovative teaching and learning whilst meeting professional targets.
Ability to analyse data for the effective monitoring and assessment of pupil performance and target setting.(Desirable)
Essential Experience
Evidence of developing a meaningful curriculum and learning experience together with demonstrable evidence of classroom teaching that is engaging for all pupils, supports pupil progress and where there is good classroom organisation and class management Demonstrable evidence of successful teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 with proven pupil progress.
Monitoring and evaluating pupil progress that supports raising attainment, adjusting provision to ensure continued improvement.
Evidence of collaborating and building effective relationships with parents, carers and the wider community to enrich teaching and learning for the wellbeing of pupils.
Experience of participating in extra-curricular activities and local visits to enrich learning experiences Experience of Ofsted inspection Experience of collaborative.(Desirable)
Experience with Ofsted inspections(Desirable)
Experience of collaborative working with multi-agencies for the benefit of the pupils. (Desirable)
Experience in managing additional educational needs provision within a classroom context.
