What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an effective, enthusiastic and creative classroom teacher to join our small but dedicated team working alongside our senior leaders as a job share.

This post will require:

  • Mixed phase teaching in our infant class from Reception – Year 2 at Holme School for two days per week.
  • Mixed phase teaching in our Lower Key Stage 2 class (Years 3 and 4) at Hinchliffe Mill School for two to three days per week.

The successful candidate should have high expectations and be able to motivate children to make good progress. Relevant experience of teaching in Reception and/or Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2 is preferable.

(Please note that there is currently a proposal to federate between Holme and Hinchliffe Mill Junior & Infant Schools. The preferred candidate will be placed onto a federation contract between the schools and could be deployed at any point between the schools and classes.)
