Kensington Primary School has developed over the past 10 years from a two-form entry school requiring improvement to one of the most successful schools in the country, with 650 children on roll. This transformation has required significant change at all levels and led us to participate in some of the most exciting advancements in education. We are now looking to appoint an inspirational and innovative class teacher to join our team on an initial 12-month temporary contract.
Why Join Us?
Kensington Primary School is unique. By joining us you will take part in some of the most exciting developments in education. Curriculum K is leading the way in rethinking what children need from school. Our well-being approaches have already influenced the national conversation. Kensington Primary School is part of The Tapscott Learning Trust. This is a Trust based on partnership ensuring the best possible quality education for our children and meeting the needs of our local community.
Our approaches have been recognised in many ways including:

Who should apply?
We are looking for a special person. Someone with the energy, drive and motivation to make a real difference to those they teach and challenge the status quo. Someone who believes all children can and will succeed if we provide them with the right circumstances. Someone who embraces curiosity and asks questions to seek out new information.
The role requires working alongside two other teachers within the year group under the direction of a Phase Assistant Head Teacher, therefore being able to work within a team and effective communication are crucial. Our successful candidate will be fully committed to the vision, purpose, and values of the school.
